Easy step by step guide to setup custom domain for blogger

Blogger custom domain feature that has existed since 2007 allows us to use our own domain name like yourblog.com and no longer use the address of yourblog.blogspot.com.

I was surprised to see that some people didn't know you could set up a custom domain name on your Blogger account to make your blog your own. You don't have to be stuck with a "yourblogname.blogspot.com" website address,
Having your own custom domain name is one of the main things I always recommend a blogger do for various reasons:

• A custom domain is necessary to take your blog to the next level. You own it which means you can move it anywhere with you. If you decide to move off of Blogger or decide that maybe one day you'd like to change your brand/blog to something a little different, you can do that easily. 
• It looks much more professional and shows that you take your blog seriously.People prefer to share a website or blog that looks professional and nice. 
• It's easier for others to remember.

2nd Step :

Okay, now that you've got your domain registered, it's time to put it to use. I've outlined this the best I can so follow along with me...
Log in to your Bigrock account panel.
http://www.bigrock.in/content.php?action=cp_login
click on the domain you want to add to your blogger blog.
Now, Click on DNS management tab

3rd Step: Connect your domain with blogger

Now open www.blogger.com and enter your blog’s settings menu.

Go to settings > Basic and click on “+ Add a custom domain” and then select “Switch to advanced settings” and enter your blogs custom URL you purchased from BigRock.

Tick the option to redirect your visitors from yourblogdomain.com to www.yourblogdomain.com.

Let the value for “use missing file host” be “NO”.

It may take up to 48 hours for the changes to take effect.
That's it !
Your New Website is Ready which automatically redirects to your New Custom Domain .
